The Ghent Eats Staff Accountant works closely with restaurant managers and owners, and is supported by an in-house CPA and a licensed accounting firm. We are looking for a person who has basic accounting skills and experience, preferably with 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience. Responsibilities: Maintaining financial records. Maintaining payroll and interacting with the ADP Payroll system. Entering accounting related information into Quickbooks. Inputting and maintaining daily sales numbers and generating reports. Reconciling bank statements. Balancing the ledger for management reports. Prepare and file local and state sales and meals taxes. Required Knowledge and Experience: Quickbooks Desktop.
