Amazon & Grubhub have changed the game for restaurant delivery

Great info from KP.com
(Amazon & Grubhub have changed the game for restaurant delivery)

Amazon announced last week a blockbuster partnership with Grubhub to provide free food delivery services to its Amazon Prime customers via the Grubhub+ membership. By visiting amazon.com/grubhub to activate the deal, members can now enjoy one year of Grubhub+ valued at $9.99 per month for free — at no added cost to their Prime membership. This new offer includes unlimited, $0 food delivery fees on orders over $12 as well as exclusive perks for Grubhub+ members and rewards like free food and order discounts. So, what does this mean for DoorDash and Uber Eats? How can they compete with quick food delivery ordering through Alexa’s voice system and the free discount for the millions of Amazon Prime customers? Even more important, what does this mean for restaurants? In at least one popular restaurant POS, DoorDash and Uber Eats are the primary included delivery services. Grubhub has been left out. As a restaurant, do you offer delivery service through DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats? As a consumer, do you have a favorite between DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats? * photo credit to Valeria Boltneva @ PexelsRead more at keithparnell dot com
