This position requires you to be a strong support person for our local restaurant group. The Ghent Eats Staff Accountant works closely with restaurant managers and owners, and is supported by an in-house CPA and a licensed accounting firm.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a person who has basic accounting skills and experience, preferably with 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining financial records.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining payroll and interacting with the ADP Payroll system.<\/li>\n<li>Entering accounting related information into Quickbooks.<\/li>\n<li>Inputting and maintaining daily sales numbers and generating reports.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling bank statements.<\/li>\n<li>Balancing the ledger for management reports.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and file local and state sales and meals taxes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Knowledge and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quickbooks Desktop.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<li>Google Workspace.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Send resume and cover letter to dave@ghenteats.com.
